Default Where do the subrails go on a 36 Fordor

I am rebuilding the floor in my 36 Fordor. I have some subrails for a 2 door. I took out the old subrails a few years ago and cannot remember if the subrail goes directly over the frame or goes inbetween the door post and the body mount bracket.

It seems to make more sense to go between the door pillar and front body mount and then the floor goes over the frame and under the subrail.
I do have to make the curved part that will go under the back floor and over the differential hump.
Any pictures would help.

Thanks.

The sub-frame drapes over the outside of the frame. The body is welded to the sub-frame which is then bolted to the frame with webbing between the two.
check out this thread which is for a coupe but helpful to you.
