This came with a 427 center oiler I bought. I can't find much on it. It has an FE bell housing and Ford linkage for certain. From what I could find, the fine splines were a Super T10 in later GM cars. Any ideas?

2A3-D identifies as a 1962 292CI 3/S (2 15/16).
Must have wrong tag on it.

Hmm, thank you. It has 3 shift rods, so I presumed it is a 4 speed. I still don't have it home. I'll double check things, thank you again.

It is a BW T-10 4/S. It just has the wrong ID TAG on it for whatever reason(s).

Must be pieced together then. I appreciate the input.
Now I have to figure out what it's worth. I won't be using it. |

The problem determining it's worth is going to be determining the original application.

It doesn't look like it but is it Aluminum? I had one years ago that came out of a factory light weight car. I have 2 or 3 cast iron ones I can check that tags on.
Year case dates look to be 12/5/1 making it a 62 trans plus I can see the yellow paint that looks like C2AA-B maybe. With the factory markings still on it says to me it may of never been apart. |
