Default Bumper Badge info needed

Does anyone know where to get the circular bumper badges made for Model A Clubs. The ones that bolt to the bumper.

Thank you

Good morning 32. I recently had some badges/medallions made for our club. You can install them on the bumper or radiator. I had them made at LogoTags.com. They did a really nice job. I will PM you my contacts info if interested.

Be careful with the radiator. I installed a badge last summer using the provided very small screws. But the threads on the screws were so sharp that as I installed the badge I cut a tube. That was a $900 mistake.

Gene, it has two 3mm studs and a backer plate. I made the two foam "washers to center it in the bumper bars or cushion it against the radiator.

I agree, most of the guys mount it to their radiator guard, not directly to the radiator. The Medallions are 3mm thick metal and not so light to be hanging on the radiator fins.

I highly recommend O'Brien Truckers. Dennis O'Brien is easy to work with and does excellent quality work at a reasonable price. Dennis produced the tag topper for my Model A club iterating artwork I provided him. Call 1-508-248-1555. They also have an interesting catalog with lots of era goodies.

Those badges are really nice it would be neat to see pictures of all the various ones that are currently available in use and see the uniqueness of them!!!

Sorry Tom. Not mine, just a picture of a badge I took at the Orange County MAFC Annual Pancake Breakfast. Maybe someone from OCMAFC can chime in.

Sand cast might be too pricey for a short run. Grab one of those cheap ChiCom CNC routers and mill them out of 1/8"-1/4" aluminum.

Back when I had the privilege of being club president, I had a number of these made up by O’brien Truckers. They did a great job, used a silk screen image to create the badges.

I do not mount anything on the radiators of my Model A's, and I move the front license plate to the bumper so it is not deflecting any cooling air flow.
