Recently I was given this vintage Hubley Model A roadster kit, never assembled. And the original price was $1.95 !
However, it’s missing the part with the four fenders, which is ok, I can call it a high-boy and still race it. But the box also has a different body, which isn’t an A. Anybody know what it is? |

Likely no actual car, just artistic license on the part of the lithographer

Joe, to be clear, there is a second body in the box which isn’t recognizable to me as an A

I had them all. The body in the picture doesn't look right. All of mine had a bottom piece with all four fenders attached. The body was screwed on top with the screws going up through the fender pan. The box looks right, but the body with the two back fenders looks wrong. IMHO.

In addition to the Model A's, Hubley did a Hot Rod kit and that's the body from one of them. Here's one on eBay currently.
