Default Duane Wells License plate restoration

I read some positive experiences. I have emailed and Called several times of the past couple weeks. Phone always has busy signal. I don't want to just send my plates to him without a confirmation he is still in business. Anyone use hm lately? Thanks

I had him do some plates for me and he did a great job. I think he is a one man operation and I suspect he leaves his phone off the hook while he is working. Did you try during the day or in the evening? I think when I called him it was late afternoon. it's been awhile since he did my plates, but his ad is still in the V-8 Times.

I "think" there is a fellow in Vernon TX name Gerald Thiele??? That restores license plate as well. Maybe someone here on the barn knows that for sure?

I believe Duane takes the summers off and resumes work in early September.

Larry has done two sets for me, excellent work and quick turn.

Iwould keep trying Duane.
He knows his stuff, has all the state color combinations and if he has any questions, he will call you to verify.
Super pleased with my 1936 Minnesota plates --- even when the truck plates were a different color than the passenger vehicles.

It is possible that Duane passed away in October 2023. There is an obit for Duane Wells of Lansing, Michigan. Shows he was in several antique auto clubs.
