Check your toe-in. Should be a total of ⅛” combined. Less than that, your car will wander from the crown of the road to the right shoulder. Check that before you go spending money on it.

My guess would be drag link rubbing on the underside of the radius arms (wishbone).

A visual inspection from underneath should give you a clue. Is the drag link rubbing? How is it if you disconnect the drag link. You need to approach it like a detective and rule things in or out.
Put front end up on stands.
Disconnect drag link. Do the spindles pivot freely? Does the steering box move evenly both ways. We can't diagnose it for you only offer guidance as to where to look.

I ask again. Is the drag link rubbing?

Yes, the drag link is rubbing on the oil pan. Just changed engine to 8BA. I'm usually better at troubleshooting. My thoughts were steering gear box going bad. I'll raise engine to clear drag link. Thank you for the help. Mike

You can get the correct spacers for the 8BA motor mounts from Speedway.
