Default swindler

HI;
Just wanted to let everyone know that there's a swindler on the barn he got me by having me email him and I was stupid and did, he was trying to sell me the old gas, oil, and water tanks from the Model T days, witch I had a add for on here for but the problem was I asked him for pictures of the tanks he said he had but he never sent the pictures to me because I don't think he even had the tanks.

I don't have his name or anything but his thing on here is yolk46 and his email is hanawalt we went for several emails back and forth and I kept asking for pictures of the tanks, then he told me a price he wanted for the tanks witch was $500.00 witch I thought was cheap because he said they were in really good shape.

But we went through about ten emails before I kind of was screwing with him as by then I kind of figured he never did have the tanks at all and was looking for the money, as he said he would take $150.00 a month until I had them paid for witch I was kind of strange to me when I haven't even seen any pictures of them yet.

But if any of you guys get a thing from him saying he has some of what ever you are trying to buy DON'T EMAIL him back, as he don't have anything you want he is just looking for the money from you so don't take a chance on this guy he's BAD NEWS.

I'm sure this guy probably has a post office box number instead of a address I think maybe the cops should go have a talk with this guy as he is 27 years old unless his birth day is wrong on here witch is probably wrong also as I wouldn't believe anything this guy has to say as it's probably not a true statement anyway or he's having the checks go to his friends addresses and he just picks them up there as I have looked at all the other sites that he has done his dirty work on and there all different email addresses for all of them, so he's changing the addresses for the computer anyway as he is trying not to get caught at what he is doing I think someone needs to find out his real name then call the cops on him as he is ripping off people and that is a crime in my book.

He told me he lived in California so I don't think it's foreign at all but he himself might be foreign decent like Mexican maybe who knows but he has to be kicked off the sites he's doing this on or it will just get worse as time goes on someone should talk to the Ford Barn administrators and have them deal with it as he shouldn't be on the barn at all as he will just keep doing his dirty work on here and the other places he's doing it on.

They can put a tracking "puck" in a small box, and put it in the PO box. Heavily taped so that when the person gets to their car, they can't really open it easily. 1) they can track them home for a warrant, 2) they can arrest them. Of course some people think a good but - ki kin will do more to deter this.

But they won't They don't have time to stop criminals from graduating to the big time. Online theft will graduate to online ext ortion...mark my words. And what municipality, or hospital has not experienced that yet...

If you do a search on the phone number (used in the S&W forum that big deuce linked to), all of the hits that come back seem to be warnings about a scammer (on multiple, different forums) which is using that phone #.

Ryan;
You just have to keep a eye on my post on the barn and the P.m's that I get to know what is going on here as there are a lot of people mad at this guy and want to get him good and I'm one of them I didn't lose money or anything but what he is doing is wrong and he has to be stopped now before someone finds him and just about kills him.

Reg…
They’ll never physically find him….he’s far far away.
The only things that can be done are block and stifle. But he’ll change identity and move on anew! That’s the way I perceive the “new world”…imho

That might be true statement but he has to be stopped before he gets it no matter where he is someone will find him sooner or later and if you read some of these post this is getting kind of out of hand.

And I know we get him kicked off of here but will he will just make a new account in a different name that's how those people work they think there smarter then everyone else but there not there just doing things that aren't legal to do and I'm sure they think it's funny and that's why this guy has to be caught now to stop at least one of them would be a plus for us.

But laws are different in other country's so he might end up with a slap on the hand when he should get some jail time and the pay back of the money he has taken form the people that he has ripped off already.

But for some reason I see this guy going to far and he will really get it then in what way don't know as of yet but this guy has to be gotten and off the sites that he is on for ever as there must be away that you can tell as to who it is before you let him into the site.

When has anyone on this website EVER heard of any of these scammers being caught and prosecuted, either organized scamming rings or individuals? I haven't. For YEARS I have been reading warnings about scammers and the people they have cheated, but nothing seems to have been done to stop such activities. They just go on scamming trusting (and sometimes gullible) people, year after year. These guys operate with impunity, foreign and domestic, because they know that they are virtually untouchable by a law enforcement that does anything BUT enforce laws protecting citizens from being cheated. Even home-grown scammers know the odds are against them being caught and punished. Even if they are caught, the rewards of scamming people out of a lot of unearned money are far greater than any legal slap on the wrist fine or laughable jailtime could offset.
The official attitude seems to be "It's only money. No one was hurt or killed." So, not much effort is expended to catch these cyber-thieves. Does anyone really recover mentally from not being "hurt" after being scanned? These people steal more than money: they take away one's belief in a stable world, a world now where trust in fellow human beings has become lost, replaced by suspicion. That's not being hurt?

Marshall:

You hit it right on the ball sack as there isn't much anyone can do to stop them as there is no way to stop them as those type people will always be there even if we take them off the web sites they are doing it on now they will be back in a different name is all, and no the law don't do much with them because they can't do much with them other then slap there wrists and that's about it.

As what we can do is take him off the barn and the other sites in that name just take that out of there but other then that there is not much anyone can do, as this guy could be done with them as you said it the risk is far greater then any legal slap on the wrist and that is a very true statement.

As this guy could be in this country or over seas but that don't mater as to where he is as he can and will do his dirty work from anywhere in the world as we all know that there has been scammers from day one, and there will be scammers to the end of time as we the good People have to get smart and NOT fall for people like scammers.

Always use PayPal or something that can and will fight for your money as if you don't your the blame on that one and only you if you get scammed, as I had him and he didn't get me because I was smart enough not to fall for his tricks and didn't fall for him and his tricks.
