Default Who owns a Right Hand Drive Model A???

I would like to see the engine compartment both sides to know how are the linkages operate.

Plus anyone with an Australian built 1930 Phaeton let’s chat.

Hi John, that’s very helpful. Do you have a measurement of the two spark linkages and the throttle link? Also a close up of the starter switch connection would be great!

So your phaeton body is all steel sub rails, pans, etc?

I have 12 or 15 throttle linkages hanging on a wire in the shed.Somebody was going through them, and found an oddball. It turns out to be for a RHD car.I don't have a clue where I picked it up,it could have been there for 25 years. It clamps to the steering column. While I really have no use for it,I always had the idea I might use the column clamp part to run a cable or switch for a horn, whistle, bell, etc. It'll get used at some point, whether it is by me or somebody else.It will never go in the scrap.

I have a small collection of photos of the driver's side of RHD cars. I also own one as well. (It's a 1928 Phaeton though.)

Happy to get more photos with my car if you need them.

Dave

There were few 1930 "Australian A Model tourers" produced and lucky to be a handful left. I'm familiar with the roadster from long ago. The body is a metal skin only over a wood frame. Even the doors are wood framed, as opposed to the 28/9 model.
The wood lasted about 5 years when exposed to the elements.
