Default Aristocrat dash and fitment of two extra gauges

I know that the reproduction Rex A Co gauges are too large for this application.
Can I remove the light socket to gain enough room for these to work?
It looks like the oil gauge may work but the temp gauge is much deeper.

Are there any modern available gauges that look good and work?

You might try the Stewart Warner wing gauges - modern with vintage look.

Check - "wings" in Product Line

Thanks, they look nice but fitment can be an issue.
I hope to hear from someone with an Aristocrat dash that has found a good fit.

Take the instrument lights off of the ones you have and they will work.

They look like what I am using in mine.

Thanks Jim that’s what I was thinking and was hoping someone had successfully done the modification before I ruined two perfect gauges.
