I am curious as to what would be the best combo and why - 2,81's or 2,97's on a 3/4 race flatty w/4" crank ? Thanks

Best throttle response - I think - would be three 81's, straight linkage!

duece lover>>>best combo and why - 2,81's or 2,97's on a 3/4 race flatty w/4"
crank ?>>> Two 97s. Why? Because I assume (a) you only have a two-duece manifold available (b) you only have a pair of 97s and 81s available, and (c) you're running a fairly sizeable ci flathead and the 97s seem to be a better cfm match to your motor than the smaller 81s. http://www.vintagespeed.com/newprod.htm Jack E/NJ Last edited by Jack E/NJ; 04-05-2011 at 04:32 PM. I like the two 48s also..If you had a 3x2 intake the 81s would run great..
