Does anyone have a photo of the removable front floorpan in their car?
Also, what is the proper size of the fasteners that secure it? Cody

42 floorboard.jpg
Here is a picture of the floorboard from my 42. Should be the same 42-48 with most 48's being made out of aluminum instead of steel. |

Appreciate it, thank you for the photos. I'm going to order the hardware kit.
While I was looking for the hardware, I noticed a 1941-48 Ford floor toe board plugs/bumpers set listed. When removing my floorboard, I noticed one of these lying under the car. Any idea where they would go under the floorboard?

I think they go in the four holes on the floor portion about an inch or so before the curve starts to the firewall. Get the seal kit also. I had to trim it to fit on my 42.

Yep the bumpers fit into pre pressed holes. I second getting a seal kit too. Just a note.. you might find the holes in the floor have "flogged out" over the the year and may have to fit bigger screws or get some large speed clips for the floor side of the set up.
