I was kinda hoping you were going to post pictures of your door skins because I have never seen brand new 'full door skins' for the 45A and 55A bodystyles. I'd say they are extremely rare!! I would buy them from you if they are truly a full door skin. Post up some pictures because you may sell them. |

Re: Model A 1929/9 door skins
Brent,
I never thought of that as everyone knows what a full door skin is as I thought anyway but I guess not I will post them on here tonight as I have no way of doing it now. And the door skins only go to the belt on the door that's it. but you do realize they are for the 1928/9 cars as they are flat on the bottom where the 30/1's where rounded, as that is what I needed that's why there for sale and I'm not making any money on these I'm selling them for what I paid for them plus the shipping as I just want to get rid of them. Re: Model A 1929/9 door skins
I never knew there were full skins were made for those doors either.I've only seen the ones that are about 2 feet tall. Those are still under $90.each new right now.Somebody may have made them years ago,I had a pair of full skins,(right to the top of the door) years ago that were supposed to be for the 30-31 pickup and tudor. The A guy I got them from told me that they fit nothing. They were nowhere near close. He was throwing them away,I couldn't even use the bottom 6 inches for a patch panel. The lower bead was wedge shaped.

Re: Model A 1929/9 door skins
Keith,
That's NOT good and yes they still make them but right now there out of production as I have been told that's for the full door skins, as I have been told the small 6" or 8" ones yet I think they still make not sure on that one. For the Tudor and the Coupe 28/9 ones they don't make as far as I know and have been told by a few venders I don't know about the 30/1's though as that is what I need for my 31 Tudor Sedan the full door skins I just hope they make them still if not I will have to find someone to make them for me. A "full door skin" is a stamped panel that covers the full exterior of a door framework. A full door skin like you are referencing was actually called the Front Door Panel - Outside (A-45805 and 45806) which was installed on the Door Frame Assembly (A-45770 & 45771). I think what you have is a lower door Patch Panel but again, it would be helpful to see pictures of what you are selling so we can be for sure. |

Who was the manufacturer? Walden Speed makes "full" door panels that go up to the beltline.
