HI:
Does anyone know of anyone that replats the Model A Vacuum Wipers as I have one from a Late 31 Deluxe Tudor Sedan, and I have been told that they were originally chrome when new and I have been asking around and I can't find any one that wants to replat the Vacuum wiper for me. So if anyone out there knows of a plater that will do them please let me know and I also need the original inside vacuum line replated so if anyone knows who does those please let me know. thanks Reggiedog |

If I remember correctly the first step is to chemically remove the old chrome but this process dissolves the wiper body. The solution used to be to get a painted wiper off of a standard vehicle and have it plated. Good luck.

Reggie, are you sure the original was chrome plated? The MACFA website doesn't mention that...
