OK. Sounds good. Had to Google this to understand the name. Apparently it's organized by the Cheaters car club.

For those of you like me who knew nothing about the Cheaters until reading this post, here's a quote from the ClassicCars.com Journal:

"If Fonzie, Potsie and Ralph Malph from TV’s Happy Days went into cryo-sleep for 60 years, they would wake up today as members of Milwaukee’s Cheaters Car Club. The club celebrates traditional hot rods, kustoms and classics with a strict observance for ‘40s to ‘60s period correctness.

“We are pretty nerdy car guys,” Cheater Carl Urbaniak joked. “Some people would say we are snobs.”

So deep is their commitment to preserving the traditional hot rod aesthetic that the 18th annual Cheaterama show actually turns away so-called rat rods and other contrived cars at the gate, although they are allowed to park around the perimeter of the show."

Sounds like my tribe!

Sadly, I'm not going to be up to driving my 1963 or older car to this show. Although it's been done by well-prepared others, I'm not quite ready for a 2,212 mile cross-country road trip. Maybe some other year.

Thanks for researching and posting info on the Cheaters Club. That was all news to me.

Their show in South Milwaukee is only a hour from me on the north side of Chicago. I may drive my ‘37 flat rod to that show. Seems like there will be lots of eye candy to ogle.
