I'm having a roadster top installed and the rear window has been installed one inch from the top wood bow. Is that where it should be placed? I told the installer tha

Thanks for the picture. My first guess would have been that it should be centered but the location you show is probably necessary to see out the back with the rear view mirror.

That looks like the Deluxe Roadster top. The location of the window may be different on a Standard Roadster top.

A quick call to Mike at Classtique will get you the answer. I have a new top from him with instructions but it is all packed away right now. I know that the location of the window is in the instructions. I know it was centered horizontally and I THINK it was 6" from the bottom but don't depend on that
