Default 1940 steering box rebuild

I have a 1940 Deluxe station wagon that is well past due for a steering box rebuild. However all the usual suppliers are out of stock on rebuild kits.
Help! Does anyone have an extra kit they would sell or know of a source?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
Jim

Hey Jim ..... Neal Jennings, "NealinCa" here on The 'Barn is an expert with steering boxes. He rebuilds them and modifies them, including 1940-ish Gemmer boxes. Since he is a member here on the F'Barn, I would send him a PM to ask about his available services. Or his e-mail is shown BELOW!

You can send Neil a PM directly by clicking on the link BELOW!

Have you checked with Michael Driskell at Thrid Gen Automotive? That's where I got the rebuild parts for my 1940 steering box.

I sound like a broken record here with the Third Gen plugs, however they seriously pull through for me 99% of the time. I also see that you are in Nova Scotia and that might add a bit of expense and trouble?
