Default Eddie Meyer aluminum heads

Hey Guys,

I have a 21 stud flathead with Eddie Meyer heads.
My research shows that the heads are rated 8.25:1 CR but my heads are about 89-90 lbs at each cylinder. If my math is correct, this comes out to around 6:1 compression.
The engine was built by H & H Flatheads and has about 800 miles on it.
Any ideas why such a discrepancy?

Richard
