One of the biggest things is to get the photo to the proper size. If too large won’t post

You can host pics on imgbb also

On my MAC, it is very easy. In the reply to thread (here) click the paper clip. A box will come up that says manage attachments. Click on the pic that you want to attach from your desktop, pictures, etc. Click upload attachment, the pic should upload to the reply box. then send.

Won't work on a land line with a rotary dial.
