Default E-Brake for 1948 Mercury (Ford) with 8" rear end

I built a 1948 Mercury Coupe with a 1970 Ford Fairlane 500 8" rear end.

I want to connect the original 1948 Mercury e-brake cable to cables from the
8" rear end.

I don't have any cables from the rear end forward, only the original 1948 Mercury cable.

Original cables for the 8" rear are only about 18" long and that misses the original 1948 Mercury cable by about another 18".

Any suggestions on what parts I need?

Thank you, Larry
