Hi everyone,

I'm sorry to waste your time with a silly question, but I took the headlights off my headlight bar to paint it, and now I'm not sure how it connects to the fenders. Do the "cups" the headlights sit in curve forward away from the radiator, or towards it? It put it so the cups curved forward, but it didn't seem like the bar was lining up correctly with the fender holes.

1930 Model A Ford Coupe.

Put the headlight buckets back into the headlight bar holes and you'll see rapidly which way the bar faces. Hint: The sockets tip forward.

Fitting the headlight bar can be a PITA. I've found the best way is to loosen the bolts holding the mudguard (fender) stays to the chassis, getting the bolts started, then tighten up everything.

I learned to take pictures every time I take something off my car. Easier to put it back together no matter how small or large. Learned this lesson years ago from taking apart my 51 Hudson and having a lot of left over parts and not knowing where they go.

The cups tilt forward, and the LH cup has a square rear edge on the rear where the nut and washer go to keep the horn bracket from twisting.
