Default Starter motor support strap

Did flathead Ford motor have a strap that supported the weight of the motor and stopped the hold down bolts from breaking???

About 1938 that a small bracket was added to the starter motor to one of the oil pan bolts. The bracket is reproduced and many of the aftermarket suppliers have them.
