Default Spotted in a Restore

I didn't know that the Habitat Restore store was into old Ford parts. Spotted them last week might still be there. $45 each

A little steep, IMHO, and one can't tell whether early or late from the angle of the shot.

Oh, by the way, great clue as to where they are located. ROFLMAO

Agreed. I was being cheeky. Get more in aluminum scrap than actual value of those pieces.

The one on the left is a late 36 so a little hard to find. I can’t find cores near me anymore especially 11a’s

There were at least a half dozen 32 distributors in the two on line Va auctions late last month and early this month. prices were reasonable.

Tom,

Sounds like someone was hoarding, which ultimately drives up the price when the demand exceeds supply. That is less likely these days.

Bob,

It's the second version of 1932 V8 distributors. The first version was recalled and only a couple of them escaped being destroyed by Ford. The second version has many unique features that distinguish it from the '33 and later versions, one of which is front and center in Sheldon's photo, the horizontal pull-out oiler, just like that on a Model B distributor.

They are still in Port Huron, MI. at the Restore. More pictures for those that asked for more info.
