Depending on style and manufacturer, there may be variations in the type of molding used. The front ones are likely the single piece aluminum types. The sides may be the steel types of either single piece or two piece depending on manufacturer and date of manufacture.
Most types are best carefully pried off with the nails still in them. The single piece aluminum types had lips on both sides of the nail groove that were bent down to close the lips and hide the nails. I've never tried to bend the lips back so I can't say the task is impossible. It may take some special tooling to do that if it's possible. The single piece types have a rubber strip that pushes down into the nail groove to hide the nails. If it has any two piece metal types then the outer piece has to be carefully pried off to separate the pieces for access to the nail groove. Some drip rails are two piece but I don't know if the Standard Fordor of 1929 had drip rails. Some may have even used one of three different styles of welting to cover some spots. Regular Hidum welt is available but the folding types of welting like wire on and plain single fold are more limited in supply.
