FYI. Call Brassworks in Paso Robles, CA 805-239-2501, Or do a Google search for them. Won't be free, but not $1200.00 for a recore.. Know a lot of folks who are running with one or their radiators....Rick

I have 2 nice used 30-31 radiators in Northwest Ohio. Not interested in shipping. Need a good used 28-29 radiator. Message me if interested.

A 55 gallon drum works good as a replacement radiator. If you have a truck you can just put it in the bed and run hoses to the engine.

That's true, they show $1349 for a new core in your radiator.

Exactly, lots more to restoring than replacing. To properly 'restore' a radiator, the old radiator must be completely disassembled, then all the components cleaned and returned to what it looked like in 1928-1931 when it was first installed at the factory. Otherwise it really isn't a restoration is it??

Labor costs have really jumped in price in the last 12-18 months on everything, so don't be sticker shocked on Model-A restoration parts and supplies costing more too.

Hello all, just replaced a radiator in my 31 and am having difficulty in getting the goose shaped radiator cap in place, the radiator itself appears to have a wider lip preventing the cap from seating properly, has anyone had to modify the cap or opening?

Please let me know…Mike

The most common radiator is priced at 725 today. Restorations of the Model As require further handwork we do not incur in the production item(s). I would be happy to provide the tube and fin material for people to do-it-themselves. Just ask.
