Default 1937 ignition switch wiring

I am rewiring a 1937 Ford. What side of the ignition switch is the battery and what side is the coil? The old wires were too bad to tell the colors. This picture is looking at the back side of the switch.

I don't think it matters, its only connecting those two to complete a circuit

I think so too. If it's just a simple switch, the switch doesn't care.
