Is there any place that repairs transmission tower shift forks? One of my dad's is worn in certain places and he's interested in repairing it.
I found one place that sells them: https://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/A7230.html Also, is there anywhere I could find plans for this? Last edited by Barnwood; 09-11-2022 at 09:28 PM. |

Is there a reason only one store, Mike's, sells transmission shift tower forks? https://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/A7230.html
What is the quality like? |

I had a local machine shop repair mine, it's usually a simple job to weld up and file the worn parts back to spec. Probably cost less than $50 if you can find a small shop to do it.

What shape is the ball on the shift lever in? Getting that out is the hard part.

Pretty easy to check if they are bent by putting two together on a shaft.
