I drive an original 1951 Ford Custon Coupe. Had an intermittent short in the horn wiring. I replaced the wire from steering to exit at end of steering column. Also removed horns, mounted to left side under the hood for a fresh coat of paint. This was done several months ago. Anyway since then the horn won't BLOW. I have an aftermarket wiring diagram that shows a horn relay. Recently decided to fix the problem. I don't see a relay any where on the fire wall or inner fender panel. I'm in dire need of a diagram that will show the horn wiring. Your help is needed. THANKS.

Since the horn does not blow after you painted,,it might be a grounding issue. Make up a wire with clips at both ends, attach one to the horn and the other to a good ground. Make sure no paint at either point. Then try the horn. If it works, do the same to the other one.
