I just picked up a 32 roadster that is a steel Henry car out in Springfield, OH.
I was made a Hot Rod sometime in the past and had been sitting since 2019. Still working on getting it on the road and driving again. Have been a reader on here for years and have picked up bits and pieces of info on the 32’s and Model A’s from the people on here that know these vehicles inside and out. Hope to pick up more info from 32 related posts. Going to try and attach a photo. |

Very cool roadster! Flathead power? What are your plans?

I would not change anything on this car, get it running and safe and enjoy it.

Yes, more info & pics please! Reminds me of when I was a little kid and my Dad drag raced a purple '32 roadster. It had a brat boy caricature on the driver's side right behind the cowl light location of a brat stirring a caldron and the caption said, "I eat Corvettes". Us kids called it the Purple People Eater. Brings back memories from close to 60 years ago.

I would make sure that tow strap is NEVER used to pull that car while the strap is pulling at the MIDDLE of that I-beam. REAL easy way to bend those fragile I-beams in the middle, like BELOW! Loving that car just like it is!! Coop . |

Good for you!! A picture of the engine would be nice. Looks like a later rear end (wider) is under it which is a good thing if it is still a banjo as most 32 rear ends are like a model A. Nice that you got a car that can be easily made drivable. Tell us how you found it and where.

Good luck with the project. In some ways similar to what my brother and I are working on, our fathers 32 Roadster hot rod from the 50's. But a big difference in the look between a 50's rod and the later version you have to work with.

This is the Holy Grail!!!!! If you need more room in that garage, I'll take that yellow 3 window and free up lots of space.

I love it when the whitewalls turn kinda tan color. In that first pic they match that cool top. I remember somebody saying they would put tea on them to shorten the process.
