I need a cowl band for my 30 roadster. I would like to buy a good restored one but they must be far and few. Can someone tell me if I would be happy with a reproduction?

Remember that there are two different length cowl bands for a 1930. Early is longer. Make sure you know which one you want.

Not sure you can even find a repro. The vendors I have checked seem to be "Out of Stock" and have been for a while now.

Even if a repo is found…
My experiences is they do not fit like the original. Gapped under the curve a bit |
