Default OD-C1 motor repair

I have an OD-C1 wiper motor for my 1928 Tudor. The original mounting plate snapped off at one of the arms. The motor was otherwise in good working order. I purchased a new plate from Bert’s model A and took the old motor apart to mount into the new plate. Unfortunately the gears that go inside the housing are warped, wobbly, and aren’t lining up and meshing. They’re binding. Anyone have any experience repairing these motors, or know where I could get replacement gears that are square? Would I have to have them fabricated? Any advice would be appreciated.
