Default 1937 Standard Tudor lighting system fuse

Hi folks, my 37 Ford's lighting system has gone dark. Can someone point me to the location of the fuse for the yellow/red circuit? No headlights, low/high beam, tailight, parlor lights, instruments, but the horn works. All stock and original wiring. Thanks

That fuse should be on firewall above clutch. It will be next to the resistor. That is where it is on a 39 the 37 should be similar.

Thanks Marko39. Located and it is blown. For some reason i was thinking the fuse was near or at the bottom of the steering column.

You need to find out why it blew. If the wiring is the original it is 85 years old. Most likely by now some of the insulation is falling off and the harness may have touched to ground and blew the fuse. Time to look at all new wiring. Lots cheaper than a car fire.

Yes, will be getting out my trusty Fluke Meter and test leads and go chasing the harness for ground/shorts outs. The wire harness is in pretty decent shape for its age. I have been going back and forth about selling this car as age and health have slowed me down but want to sort this problem out in either case.

Check with Sacramento Vintage Ford as I believe they still make harnesses. I used their harnesses on prior occasions and they were well made and reasonably priced. You have a nice tudor flatback so if you invest in a new harness you will probably get your money back when you sell. It's a popular tudor.
