Default Wiring woes

It looks like I'm going to have to replace at least the main wiring harness on Apatchy. (Sorry if I've posted this before, Coop, I've looked but cannot locate it if I have.) At my age I certainly don't relish the thought of donning my contortionist outfit and wiggling around under the truck AND the dash to get the job done. The worst part about it, with dimming eyesight, will be dealing with wires that have the color codes faded out on them. What goes where, etc. I have ordered the harness from Tyree Harris. (The very best for wiring.) It seems he, like me, will be calling on his grandsons to get the job done. Oh well, c'est la vie. (I hope my college French hasn't let me down on the spelling here.) All prayers appreciated.

Praying for a easy and painless install . I’d help if we were neighbors.

Counselor ....Not sure why you would single me out regarding your posting habits. I am sorry to hear that your truck needs a harness again so soon after your seemingly recent restoration. I would think that with all the friends, close ties and influence that you have with The V8 Club, that someone would step-up and help you replace that harness. Good luck!

Coop: We have been in our present house for over 25 years. Apatchy was mechanically and electrically finished before we moved here. You are, therefore, correct in your statement that "seemingly", it was just done last week. As far as help with work projects on Apatchy is concerned, don't overlook the fact that many of my friends and close ties to the hobby have long since joined the ranks of the dearly departed, and are sorely missed. Oh, I just singled you out for comment as you are wont to do with me. Capische?

I hunted for 3 1/2 years to find someone to re-wire my 40, wasn't cheap.
