Default What kind of brake drum?

Thanks for letting me join and welcome from Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada. I recently purchased a 1930 Model A 5 window coupe that had been converted to hydraulic brakes at some point in its life time. I was able to identify the front drums as 46 - 48 Ford, but have not been able to identify the rear drum (pictured). Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Hello hougher. I have seen those one piece drums before. They are not mainstream American production. I believe (but would like someone to confirm) they are Canadian only production. I saw a set on a car that was imported to the UK from South Africa, which would have been Canadian built.
I have seen both front and rear drums in that one piece style.
Mart.

Thanks Mart. That makes sense because the car is Canadian, complete with the Robertson head screws

Mart.

I have information that tends to agree with Mart's conclusion that they seem to be of Canadian heritage, somehow. They sure are UGLY! DD

I found this post on another site that supports these suggestions. One comment goes so far as to suggest they were used for one year only in Canada in 1940. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...drums.1220572/
Thanks for your suggestions, mystery solved
