Looking to swap out my stock 47 B.Coupe rear to late model rear. any idea which would be the easiest rear, and best cruseing ratio. Have stock 3 speed with no OD. New to these fat fenderd cars with enclosed drive line. Thanks.

You do realize that you have to modify the rear of the trans?

Engine horsepower/Torque Location flat or hilly city or highway driving If basically a stock early Ford, you already have the best differential. Relatively easy to change ratio to a wide range of stock Ford ratios. As pointed out in the previous post, to change to a modern differential would pose several major obstacles.
