Who do you recommend for new original looking or to rebuild original guages for a 36 pickup? Thanks, Art

There used to be lots of gauges available. The problem with those that are for commercial vehicles is that they are not available in any numbers. I have found that Ford never re-designed anything that it didn't need to, so your 1936 commercial gauges are very similar to the gauges in 1935 Ford passenger cars. Try searching for those.
My suggestion. As for repairs, I have no suggestions at this time. |

Williamson's
https://williamsons.com/ 2018 East Front Ave, Chester, Arkansas 72934 (479) 369-2551 They converted the clock in my '54 Ranch Wagon to 12 volts. Spoke with the owner several times about the conversion and other 6 to 12 volt issues as well. Quality product. Fair price - better than other vendors I contacted.. Took a couple of months IIRC. Previously I contacted them about the temp gauge for my '39 p/u. A PO had cut the bulb off the capillary tube. The quoted price at the time was fair but I ended up just using 2 VDO gauges hung under the dash.

I believe the 36 pickup used the same gauges as the 36 passenger car. 36 pickups came in a Standard and in a Deluxe. Some of the pickups would have had two single gauges and some would have had two double gauges. Some of the gauges are still available NOS. You probably would not want to use a 35 gauge setup even though they would fit the 36 dash because the 35 has a hydrostatic fuel gage and the 36 has an electric. It would help to know if your pickup has the two single gauge setup or the two dual gauge setup.

My pickup has the two dual guage setup although it is missing the amp out of one and the oil out of the other. I just made a deal for a complete working set except the odometer doesn't work for 250.00. I think that is a good deal. Art

Yes, I discovered the same thing. This being the main reason I began making parts for these pickups.
