Does any one still sell the new French rods.
or others that will use the stock 2.139 crank with inserts.

Default Re: New rods

A couple of years ago I bought them from SoCal Speed shop in Sacramento but last time I checked they weren't listed. At the time the new set was just about the cost of having my old rods resized. And the machinist (knowledgeable flathead guy) said that rebuilding flathead rods wasn't like a SBC. He said it can and is done but new rods were the better way to go. Wish I could be more help. Good luck finding a set.

The short ones to use Ford pistons with the 255 crank went pretty quick once they got back on the surplus market. The 7-inch rods may still be out there in some quantity.
