Default 60HP restoration progress update

Well, I got the shop cleaned up and straightened up enough to get the engine and transmission separated from each other and ready to put the engine on a stand where it will be high enough to work on.

The 91A air cleaner I bought from Tom Shute arrived and looks a lot better than it did in the photos he shared here. I am pleased.

Counselor ....HOW are you planning to mount your V8-60 on an engine stand? You gonna mount it hanging on that LOOOOONG, spindly bellhousing? Ya can't use a "BIG V8" exhaust mount...different pattern. DD

The mount is adjustable and I believe I can adjust it to fit. I will make a prop to place under the front of the engine to take the stress off of the bell housing. It worked on the 85 so it should work fine with the 60.

And by the way, I have fully recovered from the affliction of practicing law so no need to refer to me as "Counsellor".

Merry Christmas to you and yours.
