Does anyone know if Original Auto Interiors is still in bussiness?
I called the phone number listed on their website, got a disconnected recording. I sent an e-mail to the e-mail address listed, my e-mail was returned,Failure not found. I am looking for an upholstery supplier. I have already reached out to Cartouche, but i would like to have others to compare to. Trying to get upholstery for my 1951 Ford Club Coupe. Thank You! I received carpet samples from Stock Auto Interiors on Monday for my '51 Tudor, might check with them.

Thank You! They do not have headliners for 1951 Ford Custom. They will sell material to make one.

Tom Ames/Original Auto Interiors retired a few years ago and sold his inventory to (wait for it...) SMS Fabrics in Portland, Oregon. Yeah, you know - the place that takes forever to fill an order and has a less-than-stellar reputation for customer service. Good luck....

I plan to make my own seat covers (actually my wife)for 52 Crestline. She has always wanted commercial sewing machines so we bought two used ones. I requested samples from SMS and I recieved them from various years from their online catalog. I was in email communication and they asked what vehicle I had. They ended up having the exact material and it was not in their catalog. I bought what i needed and will pick it up from them next year as I will be visiting my niece that is 15 miles from them.
