Default Lost another

Those of us here on the Left coast lost another old school racer and swap meet vendor. Jack Corley of Portland Oregon has passed away. Was an avid v8 60 race car guy and Old Ford parts source seems like forever. I personally knew him since at least the late 1960s when I first met him at the Portland Swap Meet. Will miss chatting with him, his blue shop coat and flat top hair cut.

Gosh, it's so sad when one of the true hot rodders, racers and builders passes on as their knowledge is priceless and needs to be preserved. Prayers go out to Jack and all his family.

I met Jack about 8 years ago and bought many parts from him for my 36 pickup. Had a huge warehouse full of classic car parts. Had a beautiful 32 roadster with a hemi in it. GREAT GUY, very friendly. R.I.P Jack. Ron

Sorry to hear that Jack passed away. A super nice guy who was willing to share his knowledge of old Fords.

I first met Jack in the early 80s when I was restoring my 38 V12. He was so knowledgeable. Our meets wont be the same.

Jack has been a regular fixture at swap meets for the past 50 years or more and his tables were always worth a good look-over as he always brought new stuff from his massive stash. A great guy and very knowledgeable about early Fords- I will miss him.
