Hi guys; are the parking light base on a 1942-46 ford and the parking light base on a 1946-48 mercury the same?

Some of the best ice cream available in Australia apparently according to the poster but had a link, more than likely leading to more spam, a virus or spyware....it was the first post by a new member, or attempted new member.

thanks guys,that had me scratching my head too. anyhoo, I'm dealing with a case of more talent than sense. braze the socket into the parking light fixture, what could go wrong?

The 42-48 Merc parking lights are 29A, while the 42-46 Ford uses the 21A assembly, so they are not interchangeable.
