Sorry to divert this a bit...
I always thought the rumble lid handle on a '36 appeared "goofy" when installed correctly. I can understand and appreciate the reason it is installed that way. I can also understand why so many are (currently) installed incorrectly.

![]() A Pair of 1936 Ford Roadsters, one with the American Body (Maroon) and one with an Australian Body (Tan). They both have the Rumble Seat Handles mounted in the correct position. |
