I believe you are referring to Gary. Look on the swap meet section under Early V8 and you will see his posts for '40 cars & parts. Met him a year ago at Hershey.

I think your looking for "skid Marks" G.M.
There was a guy named Greg Mathews who stripped down a bunch of 40 convertibles and had them in the basement. His wife got a divorce an threw him out. I don't know where he is now. G.M.
