Gentleman,
Since I re-installed the stock taillight fuel filler neck (P.O. removed it) on my 36 Ford Tudor I have been very unhappy with the current filler neck grommet most vendors carry due to the quality and poor fitment ![]() I got my trusty micrometer out and did some research around the internet and after buying a few grommets I thought would work I may have stumbled upon a great solution! ![]() I installed the one shown below and so far the fitment for me is outstanding, the neck does not move at all and is rock solid, no exposed areas where the grommet doesn't seal well either. So far nice and tight. I will leave it on and see how it goes over time but I think I may have a winner! ![]() I ordered from filler neck supply and purchased their p/n #GR3 (same as p/n 2000 says on my invoice and stamped into the grommet) as shown below.
