That was built in Windsor, Canada with a 239 flathead engine.

Strick I have copied these pages out of a Canadian parts catalogue book I have. You should be able to decypher the tag. I presume it is a Mercury Car not a truck. This is a 1946 book. You will need to open the pdf document and move page over to view it all or maximise the pdf to get a full page.

Blue Grey or Black - that is an awesome vehicle! The closest I got to any 1942 was a Deluxe Blackout Coupe that got away.
