19Fordy Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Coral Springs FL Posts: 11,606	Removing Engine from '40 Ford Question Using a standard size engine hoist with a boom, is it possible to remove an 8BA engine from a 40 Ford car WITHOUT removing the HOOD, FRONT SHEET METAL or GRILLE? I've done it by removing only the hood and radiator but, am wondering if it's really necessary. Anyone done it that way? Thanks, JIM
