First - thanks to all of you that have helped me thru my trials and tribulations of getting my 1929 Coupe on the road. I started this project with my Dad when I was 14 and am near completion. I am 62 now! While my Dad did not get to see it back on the road he did see it painted and close.
I have been spending my time (thanks to COVID-19) on my car a little each day. Today after a lot of trials I have LIGHTS! But I of course appear to have a couple of problems. 1) Light switch is down in 6 o clock position and the headlights are on. I don't think this is correct AND when I try to move the lever it appears to be stuck.... Comments? Solutions? 2) I have a short - somewhere (blowing fuses) .... any suggestions on chasing this down? I must admit my heart skipped a beat or two when I saw the lights come on. Looks like a real car now and not a museum piece. thanks again to all for your continued help. Mike |
