Had a pretty dang AWESOME drive with my brother in our 1930 Model A!!
24 miles of Model A smells, sounds, smiles, AAAAAAUGAAAAs and waves. This was the first drive post gas gauge, shutoff valve, filter bowl, fuel line and Carb gasket replacements... Not a problem one (except my shifting ability) and actually while replacing the gas gauge found the spedo/odometer cable disconnected. Hooked that bad boy up and it is perfect!! Spot on distance wise and the speed looks to be close as we paced a few cars during the drive at the speed limit. (45) All in all a fun day with my Brother and our families 1930 Model A!! Have a great week and if you have a pic from your weekend drive/ride please share!! |
