Many, many years ago Clem Clement wrote a narrative of attending Sully with one of his children. I cannot locate that old thread, and it may have been before Ryan took over, and may no longer be accessible. So I am relying on my morphing memory. Anyway, Clem’s account stuck with me, and he made the day sound so enjoyable that I put Sully on my “someday” list. Well, “someday” is finally on the horizon. Some friends and I, in three Model A’s, plan to drive from North Carolina to Chantilly on Saturday, attend the Father’s Day meet at Sully on Sunday, and then drive on to Gettysburg for the MARC National Meet. I’ve been looking forward to this for years! And it’s all Clem’s fault! I just hope it lives up to my expectations (no pressure, Clem.)

Seven days until Sully! The Coupe is fully serviced and ready. I still need to give it a bath and load my tools and spare parts. Almost ready to hit the road!

Clem, Sorry we didn’t get to meet in person today, but your friends took very good care of our group. What a great event. THANK YOU to the George Washington Chapter for all the hard work required to make this an excellent event!

Great early reports on Sully. Attendance was down a little due to the forecast of rain (only a little mist and a high cloud cover made the show temp perfect. Gay Harington won best of show. Gay was thrillified as her red Ford truck was named for her dad! Several other Clubbers won trophies
WMitch met up with Jim Gray, our show commander, and had a good chat. They are heading to Gettysburg where GWC Clubber Larry Oliver is planning to attend with my former Model A Cabby "Smokey." I hope they meet/greet. I sure wish I could have been there. Clem |

We were unlucky and lucky. There was rain, but it stopped before the show. Attendance of cars and attendees were down, but I think everyone had a good time., nonetheless.
