Default 1953 F-100 rear gears

Thinking about changing rears from 392 to 1, to 355 to 1 ,or 331 to 1 , Randys world wide sells them for the dana 44 rear, just not sure what ratio to go to , running 15" wheels , with 235x78 tires.

That's exactly what I need or my 51 Mercury. If you were close I'd buy it

If you are still running the stock 3 speed transmission I would opt for the 3.31s
