I was wondering if anyone knew how to disassemble a 34 brake lever? I would like to remove the button, spring and rod assembly so that I can refinish the parts. Thank you.

Raise the button as far as it will go and you will observe a pin near the bottom of the shank of the button. Drive the pin out, pull the button off the rod, pull the rod out from the bottom, and extract the spring from the top. Put it back together in reverse order.
